THE
WARMINSTER MUNICIPAL AUTHORITY . . .
was incorporated in 1953
by the Township of Warminster under the Pennsylvania Municipalities
Act of 1945. The Authority is governed by a Board
of five Members appointed by the township. Board members
are selected for their knowledge and experience in the business,
engineering, and financial worlds. They are dedicated to
ensuring that the WMA service area receives the cleanest
and most reliable water supply possible.
A municipal authority offers several unique advantages over private
or municipal entities in its ability to deliver essential public
services such as water and sewer services. An authority is nonprofit,
therefore, 100% of all revenues remain within the system for improvements.
There are no stockholders and no need to earn a profit sufficient
to pay dividends.
The Warminster Municipal Authority is afforded the opportunity
and ability to provide top quality, cost effective service to
the public into the twenty-first century.
